Black Friday
Should be renamed Broke Friday. Cassie, Casey, Micaela and her friend Taylor and I ventured out at 2a to get the good deals. I've only had 3 hours of bad sleep so forgive me if most of this doesn't make sense. First we went to Old Navy where there was a HUGE line. Then it was off to Kohls. What a mess. The rude people who budge in line just as they open the doors got a couple swift hip checks into the doors! Taylor aka Tater or Tater Tot did a good job her first Black Friday. She is a really sweet girl who is very polite and doesn't have a nasty bone in her body. She quickly obtained these skills as time went on. I dropped Casey, Cassie and Tater off at Target while Mi and I went to Sam's. Sam's did a really nice job of crowd control and even served breakfast! Next was Menards. After looking in the parkinglot and the sea of cars still coming in, I quickly decided the $1.99 DVD's were not worth it. Cassie and Casey pooped out and I dropped them off at home. Mi, Tater and I headed to Scheels where Mi and Tater took a short nap while I stood in line. Scheels was handing out coffee, which was very much appreciated. After hitting McDonalds on the way home, I was out like a light around 7:47a. Needless to say, we got everything except one thing on our lists. Very productive morning even if it meant no sleep!!!!!!!!

It's been forever....................................
Yes, I know it's been a while since I blogged so here it goes.
Brigitte, our oldest Vizsla, had surgery Oct 6 to remove a tumor (or tuma) from her hind leg. The vet said it was a grade 2 out of 4 and could possibly come back. If/When that does, we would have to think about radiation to try and shrink the tumor. Other than that, she is doing great.
Lucy, the middle one, quit "showing" earlier this summer. She just was not interested and our trainer Kathy said she was just wasting time and money.......
Izzy, the baby, came home with the crown in October. She completed her AKC points to win back to back Best of Breed Titles in Rapid City SD.
Andy lost his job a couple weeks ago (on Cassie's birthday to be exact). Not really wanting to go into details, he just said it felt like a big burden was lifted off his shoulders. He has been spending alot of his time at his parents house buidling Gary's fish/house. However, he is actively LOOKING for a job.
I (Pam) am continuing my studies at NDSU and also working full time there. I am only taking two classes right now so between work and school, it is very managable.
Cassie, has decided to move her senior year along and graduate in January. She will walk with her class in June and also have her grad party then. She just wants to be done with high school and start working in the real word.
Micaela is in 7th grade this year. She is active in hockey, newspaper and student council. Hopefully Micaela will make the U12 "A" team this year. We should find out in a couple days what team she is on. Micaela has been working her butt of at Athletic Republic and hockey camps this past summer.
Brenna is in 4th grade at Spanish Immersion. She is active in baseball and hockey. Brenna was selected to Tier I for the Squirts. She was selected as the only first year squirt girl player to be moved up to tier I. We are very proud of her and all the work she had done to get this far.
My dad got his house on Aug 26 on Big Cormorant Lake. It is a 3 bedroom 1 bath home with a 6 STALL GARAGE. Andy and my dad have done a lot of work to it so far and there is more to be done including landscaping next spring/summer. I will post pics soon.
