Today is the day! I am officially taking the plunge at 6p CST. That is, I am going skydiving in honor of my friend that passed away, Kyle. He tried to get me to do it while he was still alive and I wouldn't even consider it. Now that he has passed, I have this sense of honoring him and what he loved to do most, skydive. My skydiving partner, who shall remain nameless (but is a Fargo police officer that lives right down the street from me) bailed so I am left to go it alone. Cassie is not happy with me but was told that in the unlikely even that something happens, she and the rest of the family is taken care of. She will be watching and taking pictures of me. I will have a small cheering section that includes Cassie, Brittany, Ryan, Jessica, Amanda (who has already done it), Brianna and possibly Racheal. I will post pics later.
Micaela got back from Warroad hockey camp on Saturday. She said she had a great time and wants to do it again next year. Thanks Pahlen family for putting her up and putting up with her all week.
Brenna is back at Lisa daycare's for the summer. She loves it so much, she got up early on Saturday and went to Lisa's only to come home and cry because Lisa was not home! I told her it was Saturday and Lisa was closed. Lisa got a kick out of that one.
Cassie has been working and painting her room a nice shade of red/dark pink. It only took her four coats to cover the teal blue.
We were asked by our dog handler Kathy if we would like to have another puppy. So Lady Isabella of Genovia (Izzy) will arrive sometime in August and we will get her in October. Okay, so that probably won't be her name but doesn't it sound important?
Andy and I have decided to put the lake place up for sale. I have been there four times this summer and it will only get worse as Brenna starts traveling for hockey. She also wants to do traveling soccer. Andy has been working alot of Fridays and Saturdays so he hasn't been down much either. We hate to sell it because it is a nice retreat from the city, but right now we are looking at an average of $700 each time we have stayed there so far this summer ($2200 in rent a season).
That's all for now. I will blog again hopefully sooner than later
